Thank you letter to the gremlins who took my buss pass!

 Dear Gremlins Who Took My Muni Pass,

              I started my morning like many other; groggy, slightly grouchy, in need of some coffee. . . forcing myself to work. I walked into the kitchen hoping to make myself a cup of coffee for my long walk to work. . . yes i would be walking becuase i had lost my bus pass (grumble, grumble). It wasn't there. . . my partner had used the last of the coffee and had taken my travel mug (grrrrr). . ok, take a shower, start walking. . . To be fair she did have to wake up 3 hours earlier than i to get to work by 5. . . so what can i really complain about? Well i start walking and my mind chatter is going crazy. . "you need coffee" "you are too tired for this" "you'll be late!" "there are so many hills" "you are so stupid for losing your pass. . . again!" (thank you for sharing!)   I keep walking, buy myself a cup of Philz coffee (wait i though my mindchatter said, "you don't have any money". . . hmmmmm interesting. . ) the coffee is so creamy, so delishious. . . so perfect. No my mindchatter is really getting confused. . . this coffee is so good, the morning is so sunny. . . but i am getting so hot, i can't take off my sweatshirt cuase my juggly belly willy jiggle more (waiit. . what?? THANK YOU FOR SHARING) i take off my sweatshirt. . of cool breeze on my bare arms! I decide to play a game (cuase really what is the best way to walk to work when it is allllll up hill?). i follow the lights, so cross when it is green. . and suddenly i find myslef walking down the most picturesque street. the light is shining through the trees. . which by the way are amazing shade of green. I smell jasmine, i walk by the healing arts building on bush st that has the most gorgeous garden.  i start notice everyone i walk past is saying "hi" and smiling maybe 'cause now i am smiling (no more angry bus passengers! horray!) I arrive at work. . . on time. . and with more energy and in a better mood than i have been in a while. . . By the way. . the generally surly blue bottle coffee delivery guy actually smiled and laughed when i talked to him . . i mean WHOA! so thank you to the little gremlins that took my bus pass. .i have started my day in a better mood and more thankgful than i have in a really long time.
