creating joy

Last night I was deliberately changing direction - evenings I often struggle with depression, and I was attempting to choose a different route last night, when you texted me: What did you do today that brought you joy?  I was washed with such love and appreciation!  That unexpected invitation to "catch myself doing something right", the reminder that someone out there knows my stuff and loves me enough to ask such a beautiful, life-giving question, filled me with gratitude.  Thank you for seeing me!  Thank you for reaching out of your shit to help me with mine.  You are so soul-deep beautiful, Christina, and I love you dearly.
