Appreciation for the Night Sky
For the past few nights I've been spending some time viewing and fawning over the night sky. The huge Moon with Venus shining to the West meets my need for wonder and awe. I can almost hear Venus calling "Hey Girl" to the moon...as they shine together and illuminate the city for all of us. Simply beautiful.

Thank you
Thank you for sharing that.
Out where I live there are almost no lights, because we are 10 miles out of town and a 200ft cliff blocks the city lights. In fact, about 35 miles from here is a place called Sky Village where amateur astronomers hang out. The milky way hangs in the sky and you can see the Andromeda Galaxy with your naked eye if you know where to look.
I am really appreciating my eye surgery which has given me a whole new vision experience and I cansee the stars and the moon so clearly now. I was admiring the detail on the moon the night before last and thought - Wow, it's like looking through a telescope at it!

Awe and Wonder
Thanks for the reminder. I will be with the sky tonight. I love stars. They remind me of how small I am and how comparatively little responsibility I need to take on for everything going well this next rotation of spaceship Earth.
